Diamante Eco Adventure Park

350 east RIU Hotel, Playa Matapalo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, 50503

The Basics

Multiple tours and activity passes allow you the flexibility to pick and choose what you want to do. The star attraction is the park’s zipline course, but there’s also an animal sanctuary, home to native wildlife such as crocodiles, monkeys, and sloths. Or, stroll around the botanical garden while enjoying interactive experiences with sugarcane, coffee, and chocolate. If snorkeling, sea kayaking, or paddleboarding is on the itinerary, head for the park’s private beach.

My boyfriend & I had a BLAST, we might book this excursion again, either tomorrow or Monday, we were very excited & nervous about doing the Superman zip line, but we DID IT, definitely worth doing again, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the lunch because we arrived around 11:30 AM, hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy the delicious food on our next go around…

Diamante Eco Adventure Park Day Pass with Lunch
I took my girlfriend, sister and her friend ziplining and it was an amazing experience, We loved the area and tours especially Michael with the coffee tour. We could definitely have come back multiple days and still had things to see and do that we didn't on our trip. I definitely recommend that people schedule their ziplines as early as possible to allow for time for other activities if you've purchased them

You get to know the different kinds of wild animals that live in the Costa Rican jungles. From Hauler monkeys, white face monkeys, iguannas, pumas, acelots, jaguars, crocodiles, and more. While you are there, don't forget to do the Superman Zipline, It is 80 stories high, and 1.4 kilometers long, taking between 45 seconds to 1 minute and a half from Point A to Point B. This makes it a must do Costa Rica tour!!

Very well run facility, very professional and attentive staff. We visited during the restricted covid times - they are doing their best to make it enjoyable, safe and well run. Zip-lining is fun, the staff in animal sanctuary is knowledgeable and welcoming. Botanical garden is work in progress and being built and added on. We had a good time.

Diamante Eco Adventure Park Day Pass with Lunch
Had never ziplined before, and it was exhilarating! The workers were great too, made sure my friends and I were comfortable and having fun. The food was great also! Didn't make it to the cultural experience only the animal sanctuary. We went around 2pm and unfortunately most animals were asleep but it was still cool. Stayed at the riu palace and was able to arrange a pick up at the front desk so that was nice! (It's not far but would recommend it due the steep hills leading up to Diamante)

This was a nice tour but it was more of a zoo and was expecting something a little different. But saying that all the enclosers was very clean and they have done a remarkable job to create a natural environment for the the animals. You could go into the butterfly observatory and the tucans. It was an enjoyable day, all the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Have your travel rep. contact them to arrange pickup and drop off, regular taxi was charging 65.00 one way, People from the park charged 75.00 return trip. Not a big park does not take long to see all.

Ziplining at the Diamante Eco Adventure Park

Flying through the jungle or soaring over a waterfall on one of Costa Rica’s ziplines is on many a bucket list. Riding Superman-style on Diamante’s zipline (aka The Howler), take in the ocean views as you glide along for nearly a mile (1.6 kilometers). The course also includes a free-fall “quick jump” and a bridge hanging over crocodile-filled waters. It takes around two hours to complete the full course.
