Alpenpark Neuss Tours

Alpenpark Neuss
Alpenpark Neuss is a large activity center featuring a variety of attractions that range from an 18-hole miniature golf course to a massive outdoor ropes course. There's also a funfussball course, which mixes soccer with golf, and a very popular indoor ski hall where visitors can ski throughout the year.

The Basics
Alpenpark Neus is divided into an outdoor area that features mini-golf, a ropes course, and the funfussball course, and an indoor area boasting a 984-foot- (9300-meter-) long skiing and tobogganing area. Book tickets to just one section of the park for a quick visit, or, if you visit during the summer, opt for combo passes and enjoy a variety of activities. If you want to extend your stay, take a room at the on-site hotel.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • The park is popular with active travelers, families, and anyone who wants to ski in the summer.
  • Pre-book tickets or combo passes online to save time.
  • The park offers numerous on-site dining options.
  • Alpenpark is wheelchair accessible, but not all the attractions are wheelchair friendly.

How to Get There

Alpenpark Neuss is located in the city of Neuss, about a 20-minute drive or a 40-minute tram ride from the center of nearby Düsseldorf. Travelers coming from the south or west (including the Netherlands) can take a train to Neuss (usually by switching in Cologne), then take a local tram to Neuss Kreitzer Str., about a 10-minute walk from the park.

When to Get There

Alpenpark Neuss is open daily all year round, but the opening days and hours of the individual activities and courses vary seasonally. The park stays open late on Friday and Saturday evenings for après-ski activities. Alpenpark tends to be at its busiest on weekends and during school holidays.

While in Neuss

Although Neuss is often overshadowed by its more famous neighbor, Düsseldorf, this city is one of the oldest in Germany, dating back to 16 BC, and offers plenty to see and do. Attractions include the 13th-century Basilica of St. Quirinus, the medieval fortified gate of Obertor, and the Langen Foundation, which boasts an extensive collection of Eastern art.
